Jane Bossard Marton
Jane Bossard Marton has more than 25 years experience as an advocate for clients who have suffered substantial and catastrophic injuries. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from Cornell University and her Juris Doctorate Degree in 1984 from the University of Tulsa. Ms. Marton practiced for five years in the Southwest before making her home in the Philadelphia area in 1990. Since then, Ms. Marton has been a successful civil trial attorney concentrating her legal practice in the areas of medical negligence, products liability, complex personal injuries, mass torts, motor vehicle losses and premises liability matters resulting in serious personal injury or death.
Ms. Marton has obtained numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements including a $3.2 million dollar verdict, a $2.4 million dollar verdict, and a $1.6 million dollar verdict in medical negligence matters. Most recently, on behalf of a client of Kornblau & Kornblau, Ms. Marton secured a $5.3 million dollar verdict in a hard fought delay in diagnosis of skin cancer case. In addition, Ms. Marton has been interviewed for a 20/20 investigation of the tire industry arising from her handling of a defective tire product liability case resulting in a $2.8 million dollar settlement.
Ms. Marton is licensed in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Oklahoma. She is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and is fluent in both French and Russian.
